    Loop Expands in the Columbus Region, Creating 40 New Jobs

    Columbus, Ohio – Loop, an e-commerce company with the most advanced returns and exchanges app on Shopify, has announced plans to grow its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, investing more than $650,000 and expanding its workforce to 54 full-time employees, pending the approval of the Columbus City Council. The company currently has 14 full-time employees in Columbus and hiring for sales, marketing, executive leadership, product, engineering, data and design positions will begin immediately.

    Loop is currently headquartered on Civic Center Drive in the City of Columbus and expects to finalize their new location within the city in the coming weeks to accommodate their growing workforce. Loop’s recent $10 million Series A funding round led by FirstMark allowed the company to renew its investment the Columbus Region.

    “With countless direct flights to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, Loop can operate effectively from Columbus while still being accessible to our geographically broad customer base,” said Loop President Jonathan Poma,. “The Region’s commitment to smart growth and its outstanding retail environment make Columbus the perfect place to build our business.”

    Since the company’s inception in 2017, Loop has dedicated resources to create a unique company culture that supports a future-focused work environment including a 30% remote workforce, 12 weeks of gender neutral parental leave, mental health reimbursement and various professional development opportunities through executive coaching and a formal learning and development curriculum.
